Our Story
Blue Wave NDT was founded by Giles Waterhouse, who spent a decade performing ultrasonic testing on leisure marine crafts, specifically in the Superyacht and Grand Prix Race Yacht sectors. The team inspects sailing and motor yachts from top to bottom, including the mast, hull, deck, internal structures, daggerboard, and rudder appendages, all the way to the keel.
Their skills are sought after across various industry sectors, including Defense, Sub-Sea Powergen, and Aerospace applications. Giles Waterhouse founded Blue Wave NDT after recognising the demand for detailed assessments of composites across a range of sectors that use composite materials.
